great sequel!

I loved this character, she is a coward but acts bravely for others. I read the first one and was excited about the next one. It did conclude quickly, too quickly for my taste. I have enjoyed all of her books so far!

The Best Robin Hood Retelling I have read yet

Honestly, I loved this book and it was truly the first Robin Hood retelling that even came close to holding my interest. I found Robin/ Robyn to be honest, likable, funny and someone who I also would have fought under given the opportunity. This book was much more realistic then many other Robin Hood versions I have read where everything makes sense. You can tell how much time the author put into the storyline as everything fit perfectly. Nothing was jammed in there to just make sense and have the readers accept it that way.
Of course there was a love triangle in this book as it happens often with the author, but it was light and barely registered on the romance scale. Instead most of this book was about friendship. I would give this book to my 12 year old daughter or my 81 year old grandmother and I think both would love it. I highly recommend!

WONDERFUL BOOK

This book is the amazing second half to Robyn Hood: a girl's tale. In this half Robin has left Sherwood with Crafty after Little John and Will Scarlett try to make Little John the new leader. When she leaves she ends up in the courts of Prince John and meets George, the Sheriff of Nottingham's apprentice and the man hunting "Robin Hood" a.k.a. her. While there she makes some noble friends and Little John and Will Scarlett get captured trying to convince her to come back. She is forced to attempt a daring rescue and is convinced to return by some interesting confessions from Little John and Will. All in all, it is an amazing second half with an interesting ending I loved although, I did not expect it. If you enjoyed Robin Hood: a girl's tale you must read this second half. After all, don't you want the cliffhanger answered. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK
