GAME OF THRONES: SEASON TWO
The second season of Game of Thrones proved to be extremely controversial, both for its depiction of some rather gruesome scenes (that may or may not have been found in the novels) and for its translation process from the highly popular books. Where did the executive producers misstep, and where did they – gasp – improve upon the source material? Just what goes into the thinking behind such drastic changes, anyway? And how will these alterations impact the crucially important third season?
Freelance writer Marc N. Kleinhenz is in the perfect position to examine these questions. He’s written for the biggest websites in the Game of Thrones community, including Westeros.org, WinterIsComing.net, and Tower of the Hand, was the driving force behind the Tower of the Hand: A Flight of Sorrows anthology, and is in routine collaboration with some of the biggest names in television criticism, including Maureen Ryan from The Huffington Post and James Poniewozik from Time magazine.
Containing a complete collection of Kleinhenz’s columns, two original essays exclusive to this release, and insight from Mo Ryan, James Poniewozik, and several other prominent voices, this ebook is an indispensable companion piece to the HBO series – one of the few to examine both the television and literary sides of George R.R. Martin’s vast world, and to do so without any spoilers for future episodes or novels.

A must have for Fans of Game of Thrones
By John Wao
If you're a fan of HBO's Game of Thrones then this (along with volume 1) is a must have companion piece.
It is a recap and critique of all ten episodes of season 2 along with a brief discussion on the differences between the show and books.
This is an especially invaluable book for anyone who plans to watch the show and wants to know all the background information regarding the world of the books but doesn't have time or the desire to read the massive and complex novels. (Although I highly recommend them as well). This book is a great and entertaining way to get all caught up.

great for superfans
By Josh B
Loved reading these analysis pieces discussing differences in the book and tv show. Also talks about why things may have changed in the tv show, and critiques on what might have been treated differently. Similar format to the first volume. Very conversational, and contains many thought provoking points for further discussion amongst your GoT buddies. The roundtable discussion is enjoyable, as if you are a part of the conversation. Great reading for any ASOIAF fan. Can't wait for Vol. III.

A Game of Ice and Fire
By Javi Marcos
The first volume of It is known was a nice book for all the fans of both Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire. The second one may seem a bit weaker, but in the end it delves even better with some pretty interesting stuff that you may not notice while you are simply watching the HBO series in your living room with a soda and some popcorn.
